One of my most favorite dinners to cook all year round is Chili. I love Chili because it's so easy to make, and my family always enjoys it. I'm going to share my recipe on how I make my chili extra nourishing by adding things like bone broth, beef liver, and top of the line grass fed and finished ground beef courtesy of Reil Ranch!

Before I share my Chili recipe I'm putting the spot light on Reil Ranch for a moment. Their ground beef really took my recipe to the next level. Reil Ranch ships grass fed and finished beef right to your front door. This is very convenient especially if you don't have any local farms that hold the same standards close by. It's a small, family owned and operated farm in the northeastern corner of South Dakota, where Tyler and Taylor (along with their two sons) raise 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef. Their family is passionate about connecting folks back to their food source. They believe in the power of real, nutrient dense, nourishing food and it brings them joy to feed families such good quality meat!

I'm no food blogger. I'll try my best with this recipe LOL. Here we go..

Wholesome Chili Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 lb Reil Ranch grass-fed ground beef
olive oil
1 onion
4 celery sticks
1 green pepper
1 jar of tomato sauce
2 scoops of perfect supplements desiccated beef liver
4 cloves of garlic
1 cup of each: black, pinto, and kidney beans
1 cup of bone broth
1 cup of green onions
Sour cream
Brown rice
Heat dutch oven on medium heat. Add olive oil, garlic, white onion, celery, and pepper. sauté until soft. Add in ground beef and cook until brown. Add jar of tomato sauce and bone broth. stir then turn heat down to low. Add in beef liver powder and beans. Let that cook on low for about an hour stirring occasionally. Season to taste! I like to add in my homemade taco seasoning and redmonds real salt.
Once its finished you can serve over brown rice with a dollop of sour cream and green onions on top. YUM!
Pro tip: soak your brown rice for a couple hours before you cook it. This will make it easier for your body to digest. Also, cook your rice in bone broth for extra nutrients!
There you have it! I hope you try this recipe and enjoy it!
God bless you!
With love,
Danielle
